We perfectly know our systems, because they have all been conceived and developed internally by the IAM Design technical team; for this reason, we can support the designer in all phases of the project. We support the designer to recommend the products suitable to meet the needs of each specific construction site. We develop offers by the linear metre and the list of products to be used. At a more advanced stage, we support our customers by developing construction drawings that fix the application of IAM Design systems.

For IAM Design, custom-made is standard: the customisation of our systems is already foreseen for many of the standard products.
A design approach which is matched by an evolved production methodology, able to deal with the customisation needs of the contract but above all of the designer.
Dimensional variability is associated with the most absolute variety of finishes. Customisation can also be total and we are able to create completely custom products and designs.

The Contract division is specifically dedicated to the design and construction of metal elements for public buildings, hotels, community spaces and any type of project that requires a ‘custom made’ approach. We offer an exclusive service that includes design consultancy and the possibility of customising the proposals. We support the client throughout the process, from the first steps to the finished work; IAM Design is the ideal partner for each project and acts towards the customer as the only person responsible for the quality of its product and the service offered. Environments with a strong influx of public require specially designed protections as well as careful analysis of all fastening systems. First of all, safety: each vertical and horizontal structural element has been carefully engineered by the Gonzato Contract technical office. Choice of materials, dimensional sections, care in welding, careful assembly and professional installation: this is the global service of our company.

A small religious building entirely made of wood. Spaces for meditation invaded by a soft light. The glass of the parapet projects on the main space below with extreme discretion: the structural profiles of our Glass U system are completely "drowned" in the slab. On the outside, sound-absorbing panels cover the entire thickness of the profile that supports the glass. The building's only staircase is made of iron with perforated sheet metal infill panels.

The characterizing element of the entire exhibition space is the pyramid structure of the central pavilion . It is in this area that the original and refined solution of the architect Cibic is articulated to divide the uneven compartments in safety and transparency: parapets have been made, in AISI 304 stainless steel, with particular extensible metal mesh infill square.

Location: Bolzano - Italy
Stainless steel is the protagonist of this project: AISI 316 for an external parapet extremely minimalist and robust. Special flanges for attachment to the masonry, then covered by the "external coat", were designed by our technical department. The parapet of the internal stairs, also in stainless steel, wraps around the complicated turn of the ramps. A rigorous aesthetic result. The installation by Gonzato Contract has enhanced its characteristics.

Location: Terni - Italy
We have created the parapets in satin steel and glass of the terraces and those of the internal staircase that ground floor lead and also delimit the mezzanine. The parapets were made partly with the GlassU 2kN system and partly with posts equipped with IAM Design's “Da Vinci” glass supports. The maximum transparency of the extra-clear glass used, tempered and laminated 10.10.4 (21.52 mm), creates a clean and minimalist structure that allows to enhance the open space effect.

The parapet of the main staircase of the building was made with the «Bars» system by IAM Design, in brushed AISI 304 steel, with the use of structural uprights with a circular section fixed laterally on the stringer of the staircase. The infill is made up of horizontal rods of which the upper one is calendered downwards near the landings and the ends of the staircase for greater overall aesthetic control. The special articulated handrail holder adapts to the inclination of the ramps.

Inclined steel blades used for posts. The project of the design studio faithfully respected: anti-climb handrail supports, perforated panels to design, predisposition for the lighting system. The main staircase of the headquarters of an important company is always a very significant stylistic topic. The glass plates screen-printed in the lower part to cover the riser and the tread were designed one by one. Point fixings, stairways and handrails are in brushed stainless steel. Our Glass U profile in the conference room frames the main staircase ensuring extreme architectural cleanliness.

The effect of a single milk white glass plate: this is also the result of versatility of our standard systems. The protection of the long balconies has become the characterizing element of this project. Simplicity and aesthetic cleanliness combine well with the surrounding environment. Modernity is measured against mountain and rural culture.

Location: Mundaka - Spain
The 10 bungalows built on the grassy terraces of Camping Portuondo enjoy a memorable view of the natural landscape surrounding. The parapets of the terraces were made with the Glass U 2kN modular system with anchoring to the floor and equipped with laminated glass with double plastic interlayer 8.8.2 (16.76 mm). Elegant and minimalist, in polished AISI 316 steel and tempered and laminated glass, the parapets adapt perfectly to the modern conformation of the buildings, leaving free view of the surrounding environment.

The renovation works of the seafront involved the entire pedestrian passage of the exclusive Marseillan Plage: over five hundred meters of promenade that leads from the center to the tourist port of this seaside resort renowned for the unspoiled nature that surrounds it. All the protection systems made are in AISI 316 stainless steel with an electropolished finish, suitable for installations in seaside locations. Natural elements such as wood and stone perfectly match the chosen material.

For the Sheraton Lagos Hotel, Gonzato Contract, in collaboration with a local partner, has created the parapets of the main staircase in the hall that continue and also delimit the upper floors. The parapet system was made of brushed AISI 304 steel, with the use of structural uprights with a circular section anchored to the floor. The infill is made up of horizontal rods and the special articulated handrail holder adapts to the inclination of the ramp, defining its curves and sinuosity.

Location: Bassano Del Grappa - Italy
Architecturally modern, with an elegant character, for this residential context we have created parapets for connections vertical and terraces for a total of over 1000 linear meters of stainless steel, combined with iron sheet and crystal. The French balconies were equipped with parapets with a clean and linear design, while for the terraces an infill in perforated iron sheet was adopted according to the architect's design.

For the urban area where residences, offices and commercial spaces have been built , the tallest tower in Seville designed by Caesar Pellì finds suitable placement. Gonzato Contract has designed the construction of all the pedestrian paths and access stairs to the upper commercial floors. Aisi 316 stainless steel "blade" posts with spider and rotules were used for fixing the glass sheets made of tempered laminate. The stainless steel parapets of the main stairs offer adequate safety for the important influx of people.

Location: Vicenza - Italy
The Square System railings by IAM Design are installed on the terrace of the Caffè Garibaldi, one of the finest historical places in the city of Vicenza, owned by the Municipality of Vicenza, located in Contrà Cavour overlooking Piazza dei Signori. The protection elements were made of satin-finished AISI 316 steel with handrails and structural uprights with a square section (40 × 40 mm, thickness of 2 mm) fixed to the floor. The infill is made up of sheets of laminated glass 6.6.2 (12.76 mm) fixed to the posts with suitable sized supports. Some of these parapets are mobile, so they can be arranged according to the different needs of the daily business of the venue.

The project involved the construction of glass and steel protection elements for the large space town in front of the shopping center. The IAM Design Chameleon Glass System was used to close the stairs leading to the basement floors and the shafts, which, with its design, qualifies the aesthetic impact. The large staircase leading to the first level was made of iron with parapets in satin stainless steel with horizontal rods.

Location: São Bernardo do Campo - Brazil
In this important multilevel public place, we wanted to enhance the transparency of parapets raising safety to the maximum degrees. For this reason, the glass parapet system with special columns and clamps was used to tighten each single sheet. The handrail was installed off-axis with respect to the glass plane.
